There are unusual exotic diamonds: they are referred to as "chameleon diamonds" and have the property of being able to change their color for a short time, e.g. by increasing the ambient temperature. So far no explanation has been found for this. These stones are extremely rare.
 
Many chameleon diamonds have a brown-olive base color that is not very attractive.
Not this one, which makes it a sensational one-off!
